Job Description

  • Take ownership of our monitoring stack and lead monitoring activities within the operations team 
  • Closely collaborate with the product development teams to optimize system’s observability, availability, scalability, performance, and latency.
  • Define service level indicator (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs) to track the reliability of our software
  • Optimize our monitoring strategy to prevent faults in the system, reduce failure detection time, and improve mean time to recovery (MTTR)


  • 3+ years of experience and expert knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK Stack) 
  • 5+ years of experience with software monitoring and observability topics
  •  Concepts (Traces, Metrics, and Logs) 
  • Standards (OpenTelemetry, OpenTracing, and OpenMetrics)
  • Overall application performance monitoring
  •  Experience with implementing end-to-end monitoring solutions
  •  Experience with SRE practices
  •  Strong knowledge and experience with deployment of microservice-based systems using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
