SEO specialist

As a SEO specialist, you will have a central function in the company, working together with product management, the international IT team and the marketing team.
You will be responsible for improving organic traffic, conversion and revenue for our main European markets.

You will own all aspects of SEO: the technical SEO roadmap, the keyword research and content plan, the partnerships and the monitoring and reporting of the results.
To be successful at the implementation, you need to have a data driven mindset, with a convincing and getting-things-done mentality to motivate all concerning teams.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review current websites, list improvements and optimizations, and implement those with the relevant teams.
  • Define the content plan, decide on the main subject lines and main keywords, based on search volumes and differentiation analysis
  • Create & monitor SEO dashboards for each region on main keywords. Select the monitoring tools if needed.
  • Be close to all product developments, and define and implement the necessary SEO rules Responsible for the content briefings towards the content team, and monitor SEO quality of the resulting copy.
  • Developing link building strategies
  • Analyzing and monitoring competition rankings, and the keywords and SEO techniques used. Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within search engine guidelines
  • Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines towards the different teams be the SEO guardian for all IT projects
  • Therefore we look for someone who has the following qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices
  • Being enthusiastic and have a keen interest in the subject, as this is a rapid evolving landscape
  • Experience in product management, UX design, content strategy and/or marketing
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
  • Data driven mindset

Your profile:

  • A bachelor degree in digital marketing , with SEO experience Proven experience in Google Analytics (Certified is a plus) Experience in content strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (knowledge of Power BI is a plus) Strong communication skills
  • Work independently
  • Good at stakeholder management
  • A hands-on attitude that combines innovation, proactiveness and entrepreneurial spirit. Analytical skills and an affinity with numbers and reporting.
  • A team player, but can work independently as well.
  • Comfortable to work with targets and KPIs.
